GAYTON - At his residence, May 10, 2011, Edward John Gayton of St. Stephen, NB. Survived by his wife Maureen (Scott) Gayton; five children, Gerry (Kim) Gayton, Little Ridge, NB, Sharon (Dave) McGregor, St. Stephen, NB, Angie (Perry) Finnie, Old Ridge, NB, Terri Lee Gayton (Paul Depow), Canoose, NB, Troy (Andrea) Gayton, Oak Hill, NB, sister, Madeline (Hazen) Leavitt, St. Stephen, NB; eleven grandchildren, one great grandson, several nieces and nephews.Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Mary (Richard) Gayton; brother James Gayton and his wife Mary.Edward was a Korean War Veteran who joined the military in October 1951 until honourable released October 1954.Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, Milltown Boulevard, St. Stephen, NB on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 10:00am. The RCL Branch No. 48 will conduct a tribute service on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Interment at Milltown Catholic Cemetery.Remembrances to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.Condolences may be sent to the family online at mehanfuneralhome.ca
