BEll - Edmund Osborn Bell passed away unexpectedly on July 15 , 2010 at The Eastern Maine Medical Center. He was born in Calais Maine March 19 , 1935. Son of the late Henry O. and Rose (Baxter) Bell of Milltown NB.Survived by his wife Anita Louise (Lazure) Bell of 29 years , children Brenda (Doug) Johnson of St Stephen NB , Sheldon Scott of St Stephen NB , Walter Scott of Virginia , Gary Scott of Baileyville Me. Jodi Scott of Penn. , Jimmy Scott of South Carolina , Gayla Thornsen ( Dwight) of Gouldsbourgh Me. , sisters Roberta Holdsworth of Fredericton NB and Anita Marvin of Ontario. , 12 grandchildren , Billy-Jo Bell of St Stephen , Richard Norton of St Stephen , Christopher Bell of Baileyville Me. , Danika Bell of St Stephen , Darren Bell of St Stephen , Caden Scott of Portland Me. , Taya Scott of Portland Me. Thomas Scott , Samantha Scott ,Jennifer Scott , April Thornsen , Eric Thornsen , 8 great grandchildren , several nieces and nephews, many , many special friends. Predeceased by 4 children , Sherry , Sharon , Darren and Dale , sisters Ruth Stevens , Betty Ingersoll and Glenna Monahan.Edmund served in the US Navy. He worked at Georgia Pacific for 30 years until his retirement in 1997.He was a member of Masonic Victoria Lodge # 26 F & AM , and The Luxor Shriners Flag Unit. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church (Anglican) , Prince William Street , St Stephen NB on Tuesday July 20 2010 at 2 PM. Rev. William Morton officiating. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home 23 Main Street St Stephen NB, Monday July 19, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Masonic service will be held at the funeral home on Monday July 19,2010 at 7:00 PM . Interment at St Stephen Rural Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at mehanfuneralhome.ca.
