Eben (Abie) A. MacMillan of 49 Pleasant Street, St. Stephen, N.B. passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on Friday, January 9, 2004 with his loving family by his side. Born in Westville, N.S., October 1, 1927, son of the late Eben and Barbara J. (MacKenzie) MacMillan. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Christina (Black), son, Bruce (Clare) MacMillan, daughters, Heather MacMillan and Bonnie (Douglas) Sprague, grandson, Tyler MacMillan, sister, Barbara Lee, brothers, Roddie and Ross MacMillan, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters, Jean and Murdena and one brother, Roy. Abie was employed with the Flakeboard Company until his retirement in 1992. He was Past Master of Victoria Lodge # 26, Past Grand District Deputy District #5 Past Patron of Queen Mary Chapter #4 O.E.S. Member of Luxor Shrine Flag Unit, Blue Lodge Royal Arch, Perceptory and St. Croix Council (Calais Me.) He loved all sports, but hockey and baseball were his passions, playing and coaching.
