Widow of Samuel Alan Monroe and daughter of the late David and Ernestine(Brown) Lank. Survived by 1 daughter, Carole Elaine Newman(Francis) of Nasonworth, NB, grandchildren, Joel(Lori) of Campobello, NB, Mary Stairs of Newfoundland, Jared(Candace) of North Carolina, Bradley (Maria) Newman of Florida, great grandchildren, Brandon and Aimee Mitchell, Jeremy(Jessica), Riley Stairs, Emma and Jolene Newman.
Predeceased by grandson, Graham.
Dorothy was a life member of Wilson Beach Baptist Church. In her younger years she was involved in the Sunday school and The Women's Missionary Society. She was a school teacher on Campobello for 25 years. Funeral service will be held at Wilson Beach Baptist Church , Campobello NB , Friday July 16 , 2010 at 2PM.
No visitation by request. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to the funeral service .
Interment will be at the Head Harbour Cemetery, Wilsons Beach, NB on Friday, July 16, 2010.
