Doreen T. White

Mrs. Doreen White of Bonavista, Newfoundland passes away peacefully in her home in St Stephen, NB on Thursday December 5, 2024, at the age of 74.

Doreen was the daughter of the late Ben and Caroline Fisher.

She leaves to mourn her loving family; children; Connie White and Jamie (Jackie) White grandchildren; Aislyn (Thayne), Leigha (Matthew) and Tristan great-granddaughter; her joy, Robyn and her brother; Ray (Linda) Fisher, brother-in-law; Lincoln Mercer and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Doreen will surely be missed by a special group of friends who she called her "Gazebo Girls", who held a special place in her and the many people she met along the way.

In addition to her parents, Doreen was predeceased by her husband; Henry White, siblings; Doris (Melvin) Head, Edith (Earl) Hicks, Myrtle (Jack) Hayward, Vern Keel, Margaret Tremblett and Millicent Mercer.

A graveside service will be held at the St Stephen Rural Cemetery, St Stephen, NB, on July 4, 2025 at 1 pm.

The family would like to send a sincere thank you to several people who supported and cared for Mom over the past several months: the Saint John Regional Hospital Medical and rehabilitation staff, medical staff at the Extra-Mural, the kind souls of Home Support Service Inc and The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd.
