LEECH - At Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam, April 24, 2011, Doreen Louise (Thurlow) Leech, RN, widow of the late Donald Kenneth Leech. Survived by two sons, Charles (Joy) Leech, McAdam, NB, Philip (Joan) Leech, Fredericton, NB; three grandsons Jeff (Leigh) Leech, Nathan (Melodie) Leech, Patrick Leech; granddaughter Jolene (Jeff) Callagha; three great grandchildren Jackson Leech, Audrey Leech and Caroline Callaghan; several nieces and nephews.Doreen was born in McAdam, NB, November 17, 1926 and for a short period worked at the Harvey Hospital and assisted in delivering several babies.Predeceased by her parents William and Florence (Thomas) Thurlow; 2 brothers, Bill Thurlow, George (Pricilla) Thurlow; 2 sisters Connie (Ken) Underwood, Margie (Albie) Foster; son, Dr. Lawrence Leech of Timmons, ON; infant daughter Karen Louise Leech.Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Rockland Drive Baptist Church, McAdam, NB at 2:00 p.m. with visitation at the church on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.Interment at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB.Remembrances to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.Condolences may be sent to the family online at mehanfuneralhome.caArrangements in care of The S.O.
