Dennis MacMillan, 66 years , of Riverview, and formerly of St. Stephen passed away with family by his side at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, May 19, 2011. Born in Saskatchewan on September 6,1944 he was the son of the late Clare and Beatrice (O'Brien) MacMillan. Dennis was an employee of Walmart working at the Champlain Mall location for over 8 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Cynthia (Bradford) MacMillan; daughter Christa Holmes (Ken) of Eastern Passage; son Troy MacMillan (Patsy Tozer) of Saint John, and Glenn MacMillan (Mario Poirier) of Riverview; sisters Jackie (Merle) Fitzsimmons of Florida, Donna (Ronnie Bedford) Barter of St. Stephen; and Barb (Arthur) Matheson of Quispamsis; brothers Allan (Cathy), Terry (Nancy), and Rick all of St. Stephen; three adoring grandchildren Matthew, Colby and Megan Holmes; also by several nieces and nephews.Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Paul, and brothers James and Buster. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main St., St. Stephen, NB at 11:00 AM.
