1946 - 2023
The family of Darrell I. McGlinchey are saddened to announce his passing on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, New Brunswick.
Son of the late Byron and Bernice "Bunny" McGlinchey of St Stephen, New Brunswick.
Darrell is survived by wife, Susanne (Lewis) McGlinchey, children, Greg McGlinchey (Cindy), Dawn Churchill, Mike Schumann and Amy Mann (Tony), grandchildren, Shane, Bradon, Kaida, Xavier, Elijah and Alexis, siblings, Vincent, Judy, Sheila, Lloyd, Phillip, Jeff (Jennifer) and Roddy, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Shirley Fairweather, son, Terry Fairweather, brother, Glenn and brother-in-law, Don Blaney.
A Celebration of Darrell’s Life will be held at The S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home 23 Main Street, St Stephen, New Brunswick on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 7 pm. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 pm until service time.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Darrell may be made to Ducks Unlimited Canada (Conserving Canada’s Wetlands | Ducks Unlimited Canada) , New Brunswick Wildlife Federation (P.O. Box 549, Moncton, New Brunswick E1C 8L9) or to a charity of one’s choice.
