Credwyn E. Densmore

It is with profound sadness the family of Credwyn E. Densmore announce her peaceful passing at her home in Lynnfield, NB on Sunday September 27, 2026, at the age of 94.

Born in St Stephen, NB, the daughter of the late Violet and Hazen Anderson.

Credwyn spent her life caring for others; first her parents then a large family of her own.

She married the love of her life; Sheldon in 1949 and that large family started soon after.

Credwyn loved to cook, sew, knit, the occasional Hallmark Christmas movie and of course the hot cup of tea.

She is survived by five sons; Jeffrey, Richard (Susan), Billy (Debby), Mark and Sidney, two daughters; Valerie (David) and Sandra (Jeff), eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one sister; Shirley, several nieces, nephews and cousins, many friends, both young and old.

In addition to her parents, Credwyn was predeceased by her husband; Sheldon, stillborn son; Dwight, son; Leslie, two brothers; James and William and four sisters; Alice, Harriet, Rachel and Avis.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street St Stephen, NB where funeral service will be held on Saturday October 3, 2026, at 2 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 pm until service time.

Interment will be held immediately following the funeral service at the Moores Mills Cemetery Moores Mills, NB.
