Christopher Lane Nason

NASON-We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our loving husband and father, Christopher Lane Nason at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, New Hampshire on July 11, 2011 at the young age of 58.Chris enjoyed spending time with his family, reading cooking magazines, relaxing on the back deck, and camping and hunting at Mink Lake. He also enjoyed cooking Chinese food, spending time outdoors, and attending his children’s many sporting events (Provincial Baseball, AAA Hockey, Track and Field, and Basketball)Chris worked as Manager for the Village of McAdam for 29 years. He was most recently employed as Technical Service Manager, Housing for the Department of Social Development for the Saint John Region. He was defined by his love for his family, dedication and commitment, hard work, integrity and quiet manner. Chris will be sincerely missed by all who knew him.Chris is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 37 years Linda (Perley), daughters; Susan and Amy (Nick Valcour) and sons; Jonathan (Julie Thomas) and Jordan (Janelle Porelle); several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Carl and Eleanor (Hay) Nason.Relatives and friends are invited to Rockland Drive United Baptist Church, McAdam NB for visitation on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and Friday, July 15, 2011 from 1-2pm. Funeral Service will be held at Rockland Drive United Baptist Church on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 2pm. Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB.In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the McAdam Historical Restoration Commission.Arrangements in the care of The S.
