It is with great sorrow that the family of Caroline (Shaw) Thorburn, 65, of McAdam, NB wishes to announce her passing which occurred on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Saint John, NB.
Caroline was born December 2, 1956 at Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, NS, eldest daughter of James Shaw and the late Helen (Ferguson) Shaw.
Caroline is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ted, her children, Shawn and Sarah Oakley (Chris), precious granddaughter, Adalyn Oakley who was the light of her life, siblings Doug (Paula), Wilfred, David (Lillian), Conrad (Norma), Judy (Kirk), Marlene (Albert), Donna (Wayne), Doreen (David).
A graveside service for family and friends will be held at the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 2 PM with her brother-in-law, Rev. David Lewis officiating.
