C. Wayne Colpitts

It is with sadness that the family of C. Wayne Colpitts announce his unexpected passing at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. on Friday, January 17, 2025.

Born in 1952, son of the late Charles Colpitts and Irene Ward.

Wayne worked for R.E.M. Transport for 40 years and eventually bought his own transport, which was his passion. He travelled many miles throughout the years and was well known to most in the trucking community as "Two-Fingers".

He retired in 2022 and spent his days puttering in the garage and making several trips to Canadian Tire getting anything he may have needed and to tease his daughter Renita. He got great enjoyment out of his gardens in the spring and summer and would always lend a helping hand to his neighbours.

He would do anything for his wife Patsy and loved her and all his family more than anything.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Patsy, sister, Marlene Farrell, half sister, Charlene Grant (Ronnie), half brother, Wade Colpitts (Leslie), stepbrother, George (Judy), stepsister, Margaret (Michael), daughter, Renita Marshall (Rick), son, Wayne Colpitts Jr. (Michelle), stepdaughter, Stacey Carson (Peter), stepson, Brent Dunn (Mandy), grandchildren; Whitney, Abbi, Bradley, Jenna, Amy, Kyle, Zeke, Ayden, Kinzie, Cameron and Scarlett, five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his stepson, Dale Dunn and stepbrother Doug (Nancy).

Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 3 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-3 PM.
