The family of Burton Lindsay are saddened to announce his passing on August 22, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB
Burton is the son of the late Milton and Dorothy (McLaughlin) Lindsay.
Burton spent many years working for Southwest Concrete, also known as "Jackson’s" and helped build the gypson plant in McAdam, NB, one among of many other job sites in which he had a hand in. You could always count on Burt to help with any project from building cabinets to chopping wood. He was always there to lend a helping hand with a smile on his face.
The love he had for his wife and family was admirable.
Burton is survived by one daughter; Amy-Jo (Jenna, Isabella), three stepsons; Keith Mann (Cindy), Andy Mann (Lynn) and Ronnie Mann, one daughter-in-law; Sandra Mann, thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one sister; Kitty Keating, one sister-in-law; Janice Lindsay, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Burton was also predeceased by his loving wife, Ruth (MacFarlane), two stepsons; Roger and Tony Mann, two brothers; Buddy and Ray Lindsay, three sisters; Jenny Westhaver, Rita Caldwell and Rosemary Tucker.
A graveside service and interment will be held for Burton and Ruth at the Pomeroy Ridge Cemetery, Pomeroy Ridge, NB on Tuesday August 27, 2024 at 1 pm.
