Brian A. Murphy passed away quietly at the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday November 5th, 2023
Born in St Stephen, New Brunswick, he is the son of the late George and Harriett (O’Neil) Murphy.
Brian lived most of his life in St. Stephen, New Brunswick and worked many years as an orderly at the Charlotte County Hospital. Later Brian then received his Registered Nurse Assistant (RNA) and worked at nursing for several years. Before retirement, Brian worked at the stores at the Charlotte County Hospital.
Brian had a great passion for hunting, fishing and loved his home in Canoose, New Brunswick. He was also very proud that he earned a black belt in Karate in 1990.
Brian is survived by his wife Denise, sons, Raymond (Krista) and Tony (Anna), grandchildren, Cody, Allee, Logan and Callen, sisters, Myrna McCormack, Shirley Spracklin, Eileen Groot, Beth Haigh, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Brian is predeceased by his brother, Richard Murphy, sisters, Blanche Lee, Mary Murphy, Jane Carr, Ann Ryan, several aunts and uncles.
A graveside service for friends and family will be held at the Oak Bay Rural Cemetery Oak Bay, NB on Tuesday August 6, 2024 at 1 pm
Donations may be made in Brian’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
