AVERY-at Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, February 6, 2008, Beverly Winslow Avery, age 68, husband of Carmeline M. (Legace) Avery, of Dufferin, Charlotte County, NB.Son of the late Ernest and Myrtle Avery, Bev was born on December 23, 1939 in Baxters Harbour, N.S. and worked for Connors Brothers for 41 years. Bev’s passion for the ocean was reflected in his photography and wood carving.Surviving in addition to his wife Carmeline is Bev’s daughter Kelly Hanley (Kevin) and his grandsons Keith and Kaleb Hanley of Pennfield, N.B., his son Seth of Beaver Harbour, N.B., his brothers Hartley (Reva) of St. Stephen, N.B.and Bernard (Jennie) of Beaver Harbour, N.B., his sister Marion Keddy (Cecil) of Port Williams, N.S., several nieces and nephews, his Silky Terrier, Sailor, and special friends Maisie and Meb Hudson of Annapolis County, N.S.No visitation will be held by request. Funeral service will be held Saturday February 16, 2008 at 11 A.M. from the S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. with the Rev.
