Bernard B. Sewell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernard B. Sewell on Tuesday February 25, 2025, at the Charlotte County Hospital St. Stephen, NB.

Bernard was the son of the late Benjamin and Vera (McIntosh) Sewell.

He is survived by his children; Rebecca (Gary) Libby, Crystal Sewell, Kimberly (Danny) Donahue, Bernard (Robin) Sewell, Benny Sewell and Jane Harper Howe,  grandchildren; Amanda, Briar, Carlie, Bradley, Colby, Destiny, Haley and Trey, great-grandchildren; Maddox, Tomek, Aurora, Boddie and Anastazja, sisters; Rosemond (Roger) Collin, Myrna Pomeroy (Sissy), brother-in-law; Leo (Bea) McLaughlin, sister-in-law; Brenda McLaughlin, several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Judy Cleghorn and Timmy Brawn.

In addition to his parents, Bernard was predeceased by his wife; Edith (McLaughlin) Sewell, infant grandson; Corey Libby and son-in-law; Nick Defazio.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025, at 2 PM.  Family will receive friends at 12:00 PM until service time.

Interment will be at the Oak Bay Rural Cemetery, Oak Bay, New Brunswick at a later date.
