Barry E. Peterson

It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Barry E. Peterson on Wednesday December 31, 2025, at his residence in Tower Hill, NB.

Born in 1961 son of Wilfred and Judy (Arbeau) Peterson of Caines River Road, NB.

Barry spent some time away from New Brunswick and came back to plant his roots.  He had many jobs but was a long-term employee of Taylor Wood and Milltown Trucking Company Limited.

He loved his family however his greatest love of all, vintage Dodge trucks.  If you ever wanted to find him, just look in his garage.  Even from a young age he was always tinkering with anything that had a motor.

Barry was a private person, but he had a good sense of humor.

He is survived by longtime partner of 34 years; Rosie McCutcheon, daughter; Alicia McCutcheon, son; Drake McCutcheon, grandson; Ezrah, his parents, siblings; Shirley Arbeau (Shepard) of Miramichi, NB, Jeanette Peterson (Blair) of St Stephen, NB, Basil Peterson (Tracy) of Chelmsford, NB and Heather Ward (Chris) from Red Bank, NB, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Barry was predeceased by his brother; Wesley Peterson.

In keeping with Barry’s wishes there will be no visitation.

A graveside service will be held at a later date, at the St David Ridge Cemetery St. David Ridge, NB.
