Barbara Lee

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Barbara L. Lee on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Lincourt Manor St. Stephen NB.

Born in Westville, Pictou County, N.S., daughter of the late Ebeneezer and Barbara Jane (MacKenzie) MacMillan.

Barbara was passionate about all sports especially hockey and baseball and was an avid fan. She loved getting involved in politics, was a member of the St. Stephen Eastern Star, held a position on the Charlotte County Hospital Board for 20 years and enjoyed volunteering at the hospital. She had also recently received her 60 Yr. pin from the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Barbara was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Friend and Blue Jay fan.

Survived by her children, Murray, Harry, Jeannie Lindsay, Janice Moffatt and Joan Roy, daughters-in-law, Jeanne Lee and Lisa Lee, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Barbie".

In addition to her parents, Barb was predeceased by her brothers, Roderick "Roddie", Roy, Ross and Eben "Abie", sisters, Murdeana and Jean, son Kenneth Lee.

There will be an Order of the Eastern Star tribute service for Barb at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street on Monday, August 12, 2024 starting at 1 PM. Interment will follow at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.

The family would like to express their sincere thank you to the staff of Lincourt Manor who deeply cared for her and whom she loved being around.  They made her laugh and always had time to talk to her.
