Arthur Joseph Arsenault
1922 - 2012
Arthur J. Arsenault passed away peacefully at Lincourt Manor in St. Stephen on March 21, 2012 at the age of 89.
Beloved husband of Leona (Porter); loving father of Larry (Nancy Chipman), and Peter (Karen Hedges); adoring grandfather of Kathryn, Suzanne, Julie, Petra and Austin and great-granddaughter, Ella Selmi.
Arthur was pre-deceased by his parents Joseph Marius-Abdon and Belzemee (Richard) Arsenault; brothers and sister.
Arthur retired from Georgia Pacific in Woodland, Maine in 1984 as a pipefitter and had a floor sanding business after that. He was also an avid sportsman/outdoorsman all his life. He served with the Canadian Army in WWII. Arthur will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Resting at The S.O .Mehan & Son Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, St. Stephen, NB.
