Anita Katheryn Mark

MARK- At Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, N.B. , March 9, 2006, a great woman has passed. Anita Katheryn Mark for 92 years committed herself to the care and service of others. Spending most of her life in Charlotte County, "Nete," know so affectionately by her family and many friends, graduated in 1936 from St. Joseph's Hospital in Saint John, NB as a Registered Nurse. She commenced private nursing practice for several years and then joined the Chipman Memorial Hospital. Her working life at Charlotte County Hospital saw her assume a strong leadership role in the evolution of health care in the county. She worked in the Pharmacy and was appointed Supervisor of Nursing. Characteristically, Nete was devoted to her church and enjoyed the status of Life Member of Holy Rosary CWL. Her enthusiasm for life took her on many travels around the world, and she loved to recount her adventures. She loved her family more. Predeceased by her parents, Ronzo and Nellie (Daley)Mark, an infant brother, Jackie and her sister, Mary (Frank) Reynolds. Nete had a special fondness for her nephews Mark (Janice) and Michael and her nieces Margaret and Mary Frances. She loved visiting with her great niece Tracy and great nephew Luke, offering them her zest for life as a model for success.Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Union Street St. Stephen, N.B. on Monday March 13,2006 at 10: 00 A.M With Rev.
