It is with great sadness the family would like to announce the passing of our son and brother, Terry Leavitt Jr at his home in Mayfield, NB on Monday, June 17th, 2024.
Terry was born the son of Terry Leavitt Sr and Cheryl (Caissie) Leavitt
Terry left so many memories in all our hearts, coming back from a huge life changing accident 23 years ago. He didn’t ever let that determine what he was going to do in life. He touched so many lives with his story. He was an amazing artist, even as a child, he loved to draw. Anyone that knew him loved him and he left a huge impression on their lives. He will be deeply missed, but he is running in the fields of glory right now smiling down on us, we love you!

He is survived by his parents, Terry and Cheryl Leavitt of Mayfield, NB, his sister Stacey (Alex) Suhaianu, his nephew Kegan Suhaianu of St. Stephen, NB., his paternal grandmother Pansy Leavitt of Back Bay, NB, aunts and uncles, Cathy (Barry Mackenzie) Scott, Jeff Scott, Jackie (Doug) Scott, Betty Caissie, Cathy (Larry Saulnier), Debbie (Andrew) Bright, Ted (Rosemarie) Caissie, Joe Caissie, cousins, Tiffany (Mark) McGlinchey, Stephany (Corey) Welshman, Kayla (Matt) LeFait, Joe (Heather) Scott, Kirk (Melissa) Scott, Nick (Jennifer) Scott, Melanie (Ronnie) Cleghorn, Mark MacDonald, Stephanie (Andrew) Waugh, Jennifer Bright, Garret Bright, Richie (Jen) Perry, Kevin (Cathie) Caissie, Kristi (Joe) Baker, Christopher (Jessica) Caissie, Adam Caissie, Britney Corbett and Nick Corbett
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Ronald Leavitt, his maternal nanny June Caissie, his maternal grandfather, Alyre Caissie, aunt, Dodie Perry and a special cousin Allena Corbett.
Resting at S.O. Mehan Funeral Home in St. Stephen, NB, funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3 pm. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday June 20th, 2023 from 1 pm until service time.
Interment at the Oak Bay Rural Cemetery, Oak Bay, NB. immediately following the funeral service.
