It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ann C. Carson, who left us peacefully on October 8, 2026, at the Charlotte County Hospital in St. Stephen, NB, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in 1939, Ann was the daughter of the late Elizabeth A. (Marshall) and Manzer E. Moffitt. As the youngest of eight children, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her beloved parents; her brothers, William and John; and her sisters, Pauline A. Whitehead, Jean S. Clark, Marian E. Green, Phyllis G. Graham, and Neva Moffitt.
Ann grew up with a deep love for the outdoors, spending her childhood riding horses, chasing cows on the farm, and helping her father deliver milk and eggs to their local community. Shortly after completing her education, she met and married Arthur "Keith" Carson, in August 1957.
Throughout her life, Ann was known for her strong work ethic. She fondly recalled her days working at "John’s Place," and later in life, she found immense fulfillment and pride in providing private home care for seniors. Outside of work, Ann was a woman of many passions; she loved reading, birdwatching, gardening, and crocheting, but her greatest joy was always her family.
Her legacy of love lives on through her four children: Eugene Carson (Debbie), Sonia Booth (Alan), Kelly MacCready (Jim), Peter (Stacey).
She was the cherished grandmother of Tiffany, Michaela, Kendall, Zoey, Sally, Andrea, Jessie, Jenna, and Amy, and the proud great-grandmother of Morgan, Mitchell, and Drew. She will also be deeply missed by many cousins across both Canada and the United States.
Cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ann’s memory to the Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mehanfuneralhome.ca
