Robert W. Hatt

With heavy hearts, the family of Robert W. Hatt announces his sudden passing on July 1, 2026, en route to the hospital in St. Stephen. A lifelong resident of the area, Bob was born in St. Stephen, N.B., to the late James and Angela “Arkie” Hatt.

An avid fisherman and hunter, he possessed a deep and lifelong passion for the great outdoors. Beyond his time in nature, he was a dedicated sports enthusiast who took great pleasure in playing golf, baseball, and darts.

Bob is lovingly remembered by his children, Nathan (Jamie), Jody (Tammy), Greg, Colby (Katie), and Dimitri, and his cherished grandchildren, Cole, Ataya, Briley, Zoey, Brody, and Kira. He also leaves behind his siblings, Sandra (Frank), Danny (Priscilla), Linda, Mary Jo (Doug), and Dale, along with several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bob’s life will take place at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B., on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 2 PM. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the funeral home prior to the service from 12 PM to 2 PM.
