Darlene A. Weeks

1962 - 2026

It is with great sadness the family of Darlene A. Weeks announces her passing on Monday April 6th, 2026, at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, NB., with her loving daughters and family by her side.

Born in St Stephen NB in 1962, daughter of the late Grace and Clifford Weeks.

Darlene grew up in Lynnfield, NB with her large loving family that remained very close to her throughout her life. She carried that same deep love into her own family where she was a devoted caring mother and a proud loving grandmother.

From a young age of 14, Darlene started her first job at the tuna plant. She later worked at the Garcelon Stamp Company and then at Connect North America.

Darlene later was a stay-at-home mom and poured her whole heart into being a mother. She will be remembered by her kind spirit, strength and her deep appreciation for the little things in life.

Darlene enjoyed nights out at the Lumber Yard in her younger years with many friends, playing Scrabble with Dee, tanning on a sunny day, loved a game of cards, bingo, horror movies, making crafts and listening to music. She loved to show off her showcases of her Temu finds.

She found many meaningful friendships throughout her life. It wasn’t hard not to love her. She had a way of being effortlessly lovable.

Darlene is survived by her children; Jennifer Weeks (Mike), Trisha Roy (Joey), Courtney Roy (Karan), her beautiful grandchildren; Jacob, Olivia, Chloe, Aeris, Amora and Macey Mae, whom she greatly adored, her close companion for many years; Wayne, her siblings; Wanda Stewart, Kathy Weeks, Pam Gowan (Dale), Lisa Goodin (Chris) and Clifford Weeks (Shelley), several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first love; Timothy Roy, brother; Peter Allen and brother-in-law; Gordon Stewart.

Darlene always had a very special bond with her home care workers. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to each of them for their compassion, care and friendship they always showed her.

The family would also like to thank the nurses and care team at Charlotte County Hospital who looked after Mom with such devotion during her last days.
