The family of Morgan Parks of St. Stephen, NB is devasted to announce her unexpected passing on April 4th, 2026.
Born in 1998, Morgan is the daughter of Carol Parks and the late Jeffery Parks.
Morgan tried hockey at age 6 but decided running around in the rink and helping Tammy in the canteen was more fun.
In the summer, Morgan loved swimming lessons and was a competitive swimmer. The love of swimming led her to obtain all her levels to complete her lifeguarding certification. She also took the opportunity to coach kids in swimming lessons.
Morgan’s love of art started at an early age; she loved to paint, write and loved all nature had to offer, especially sunsets, being by the water and collecting heart shaped rocks.
Morgan genuinely helped so many people by providing a listening ear and her time without expecting anything in return.
Morgan worked at the W.T. Booth Centennial Pool and the Garcelon Civic Centre as a student. After graduating from SSHS in 2017, Morgan attended NBCC and took a year of Human Services. Morgan went back to NBCC and successfully completed her LPN program. She started her nursing career, working in several nursing homes and most recent with Horizon at the Centracare facility. Morgan was admired by her coworkers and was spoken highly of regarding her care and compassionate spirit in taking care of her clients.
Morgan is survived by her mother; Carol (Dale), her brother; Dalton (Alanna) nephew; Drew, grandmother; Majorie Buchanan, Aunt Marion Coady (Michael), her partner; Hayden Shore, godparents; Barb and Keith Gilks and many cousins. Morgan is also survived by her two lifelong best friends; Ashley Seabrook and Anthony Daigle, along with so many other friends Morgan held close to her heart.
The family will receive friends at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, 23 Main Street St Stephen, NB on Thursday 4 – 7 pm.
Donations in Morgan’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.mehanfuneralhome.ca
