David McLean

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David McLean at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 with his family by his side.

Born in Toronto, ON., son of Rawleigh McLean and the late Juanita (McLaughlin) McLean. David was a kind and loving person; he would help anyone he could when asked.

David worked many jobs; he was a certified heavy equipment operator and worked at SWP Sawmill, Great Northern Fence Company, Bayside Port, tree trimming and blueberry harvesting.

David is survived by his daughter, Emily McLean (Kinzie), brother Mike McLean (Olivia and Gabriel), father, Rawleigh, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Lawrence and Doris McLaughlin, Granville “Mike” and Joan McLean.

David met a lot of friends during his journey, and he will be missed by his many family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street, St Stephen, N.B. on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 2 PM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 1-2 PM.

Interment at Moores Mills Cemetery, Moores Mills, N.B. following the funeral service.
