1939 - 2026
The family of Edward “Ted” C. Cartwright are saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday February 17, 2026, at Lincourt Manor St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
He was born in St Stephen, NB, 1939, son of the late Frederick and Ruth Cartwright.
Teddy is survived by his daughter; Rolana Johnson (Tim), sons; Edward Jr and Joseph (Frances), stepson; Dale Kirke (Loretta), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife; Juanita, stepbrothers and stepsisters.
Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street St Stephen, NB, from where the funeral service will be held on Friday February 20, 2026. A tribute to a Veteran’s service will be held by The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #9 at 2 pm and the funeral service will immediately follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 pm.
Interment will be held at the St Stephen Rural Cemetery St Stephen, NB.
