Roy V. Fraser passed away on Sunday September 14, 2025, at his residence, Shoreside Haven Oak Bay, NB.
He was raised in Dewolfe, NB by his beloved foster parents, the late Faye and Milton Trafton.
Roy attended Lawrence Station School before joining the Military where he travelled overseas to Cypress. Due to his health at the age of forty, he was Honorably Discharged.
After moving back to NB, he met and married the love of his life, Ruth in 2002. Living life to the fullest, Roy and Ruth enjoyed travelling, attending music events and square dancing. He would always bring his guitar to play and sing.
Roy is survived by his loving wife, Ruth, his daughter; Elizabeth Fraser, grandchildren; Micheal, Brooklyn and Braydon, all of High Prairie, Alberta, stepchildren; Julie Chisholm (Dale), Micheal McLaughlin, Jim McLaughlin (Angela), Cindy Ganong (Brad Speedy) and Susan Garland (Micheal Erskine), several step grandchildren and step greatgrandchildren.
In addition to his foster parents, Roy was predeceased by his grandson; Jonathon in 2021.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 17, 2025, at the St Stephen Rural Cemetery, St Stephen, NB at 2 pm.

The family would like to thank Shoreside Haven in Oak Bay for his care while a resident. A special thank you to Roy and Ruth’s granddaughter; Siera Garland for her love and care she has given to her grandparents.
