Rita Carter

It is with great sadness the family of Rita (Gullison) Carter announces the passing of their wife – mother – grandmother – great grand nana, on Sunday May 26, 2024 at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton NB.

Rita was the daughter of the late Pauline and Phillip Gullison.

Rita is survived by her husband, Bill, daughter, Samantha (Randy) MacLean, grandchildren, Ashley and Ryan, great grand princess Aria Rose, stepchildren, Christie (Clayton) and Tanya (Mike), step grandchildren, Colton, Cameron, Emma, Kirsten and Dayton, step great grandchildren, Claire and Temperance, siblings, Marilyn (Stan), Janice, Glennie, Brenda (Wes), Russell (Pam), Mona and Keith (Pam), nieces, nephews and cousins. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by infant son, Jamie, brothers, Winslow, Roy, Dean, Roger and Perry, sister, Joyce.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday May 30^th, 2024 at 3 pm.  Family will receive friends from 1 – until service time.  We are asking, in celebration of Rita’s life, that guests wear their favorite jeans to the service as a tribute to her.

Interment at Lynnfield Cemetery, Lynnfield, NB, at a later date.
