It is with great sadness the family announce the unexpected passing of Bradley Downey on Friday May 17, 2024.
Born in St Stephen N.B, son of Allan and Janet (LeBlanc) Downey.
Bradley was full of life. Family came first for Bradley. He loved the outdoors with his children and had a great love for anything with wheels and an engine. This he has passed onto his children and nephew.
He worked in the family construction business alongside his father Allan. He was a handyman to anyone who needed anything at any given time.
Bradley will be greatly missed by his partner Mary Boles, their wrecking crew Brody, Lydia, Bryson, and Amelia, parents, Janet and Allan Downey, sister Amanda (Jason) Speedy, nephew, Finn and niece, Cora, grandmother Rita LeBlanc, in-laws, Larry and Daphne Seabrook, grandmother, Addie Seabrook, brother in law Joey (Ashley) Seabrook, sisters-in-law, Jodi Seabrook, Cassidy Brown, Melissa Payne and Heather Boles, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Bradley had many friends who he loved to spend time with while making many memories of stories and laughter.
Predeceased by his infant daughter, Cassandra, grandparents Maurice LeBlanc, Donald & Lois Downey, David & Mary Townsend, Ivan Seabrook, cousins Chris Olynych & Peter LeBlanc.
Funeral Service will be at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB on Wednesday May 22, 2024, at 4 pm. Family will receive friends on Wednesday May 22, 2024, from 2 pm until service time.
Interment will be at Oak Bay Cemetery, Oak Bay, NB following the service.
