Norma E. Mann
1928 - 2023
Norma E. Mann passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
Norma was born in Whittier Ridge in 1928. She attended the Waweig School and graduated from St. Stephen High School in 1947.
After graduation she went to work at the Garcelon Stamp Company and was employed there until it closed. She continued her working career at the Tax and Duty Free Store on Milltown Blvd and the Milltown Irving Convenience Store.
Norma was a member of the Junior Ladies Auxiliary Branch # 9 for 58 years.
People often say their pet is a member of their family and Norma took that to heart having been the owner of many "cat" friends over the years. She often said, "she didn’t find them; they found her."
She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Mann; her mother Katie (Steen); and her stepfather Hazen Goudy. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In keeping with Norma’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation held.
