Isabel Parker

Isabel Parker passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, NB. on Sunday, December 8, 2019.

Born in St Stephen, NB., daughter of the late Samuel and Carrie Mehan.

Isabel was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Passamaquoddy Branch # 8 Ladies Auxiliary and was always actively fundraising for many charitable events in the community of St. Andrews. She was also a member of All Saints Anglican Church. Isabel maintained her own home in St. Andrews until 2017, when she became a resident at Passamaquoddy Lodge.

Survived by her daughter, Deborah Vass (Peter) of Fall River, NS., son, Thomas Parker of St. Andrews, NB., , grandchildren: Morgan and Rachel Bell, Annie, Drew and Vincent Parker, sister-in-law, Terry Parker of St. Andrews, NB., nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Isabel was predeceased by her husband Owen, daughter, Wanda Parker Bell, sisters, Ruth McLeod, Mary Jane Snow and Annie Merritt.

In keeping with Isabel’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation heldat this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Passamaquoddy Lodge and the staff of the Palliative Care unit at Charlotte County Hospital for their wonderful care.
