Nancy Jane Haney Kennedy McLaughlin Gardner After a long battle of failing health, Nancy Gardner passed away at Charlotte County Hospital, February 23, 2012.
Born 1940 to the late Charles and Mary (Styles) Haney.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Wayne Gardner; Three sons, William Kennedy (Diana) of Dewolfe, N.B., George Kennedy (Debbie) of Tower Hill, N.B., Stephen Adams (Linda) of Calgary, Alberta; two daughters, Tammy-Jo Leverock (Curtis) of Virginia, April Pitre (Kevin) of Oak Bay, N.B.; one stepson, John Gardner of Andersonville, N.B.; one son-in-law, Ronald Johnston of St. George, N.B.; thirteen grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; one brother, Dale Haney (Carrol) of St. Stephen, N.B.; special niece, Sharon Waycott of Calais, Maine.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her daughter, Laura Haney; her husbands, Lawrence Kennedy and Hugh McLaughlin; three brothers, George, Paul and Phillip Haney; one sister, Pauline Demmons; one great-grandchild, Joshua Denyer.
A memorial service will be held at By the Sea Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, 183 Queen Street, Saint Andrews, N.B. on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, St. Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Stephen Townes, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Interment will be held at a later date at Baillie Cemetery, Baillie, NB.
