The death of Darlene Carson of Old Ridge occurred at Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 12th, 2012, after a lengthy battle with lupus.
Born in St. Stephen, N.B., February 5, 1952, she was the daughter of Lorenne (Johnston) Gowan and the late James Gowan.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Carson; son, Corey (Kelly) Carson; granddaughter, Abigail Rose Carson; mother, Lorenne; brothers, Allen (Elaine) Gowan of St. Stephen, NB, James (Roselle) Gowan of Fredericton, NB and Richard (Cindy) Gowan of Rothesay, NB; Mother-in-law, Viola May Carson; brothers-in-law and sisters- in- law, Kenneth (Vivien) Carson, Carmen (Les) Zigler, Steven Carson, Sandra (Garry) Hanson, Allan (Donna) Carson, Thomas (Carolyn) Carson; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, St. Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 16, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
