MONGTOMERY, Winnifred Sarah passed away peacefully on Friday, January 7, 2011 at her home 53 Princess Street, St. Stephen, NB. Winnie (Woodard) Montgomery was the wife of the late Edward Montgomery. Born in St. Stephen, NB, February 7, 1925 she was the youngest daughter of the late Wilfred and Ethel Woodard. She is survived by one son Benton (Joyce) Woodard, three grandchildren Annette (Greg) Martell, Wayne Woodard and Karen (Mark) Edwards, three great grandchildren Kaleigh and Alexander Woodard and Jack Edwards and her good friend Kenneth Acker as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers Fred, Raymond, Jack and Arnold and three sisters Ethel, Doris and Margaret. As per her request there will be no visitation. A service of Committal will take place in the spring at Oak Bay Cemetery.Memorials in her memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Fund, Diabetic Association or the local SPCA.
