Born April 29, 1935, son of the late Maynard and Winnie (Shaw) Purcell.Survived by his wife, Sandra, 2 sons; David of Tampa, Florida , Richard (Lynn) of St. Stephen, NB, 1 granddaughter, Andrea McCray(Brad) of Upper Mills, NB, 2 great granddaughters, Isabelle and Hillary McCray, 2 brothers; Maynard Purcell (Jeanne) of St. Stephen, NB, Gerald Purcell (Patricia) of St. Stephen, NB, nieces and nephews and cousins.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Union Street, St. Stephen, NB on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours will be held at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.Interment at Milltown Catholic Cemetery.For those who wish, remembrances to the Charlotte County Hospital Auxiliary, St. Croix Vocational Centre or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
