Mary Leona (Lovelace) Beach-74 of St. Stephen, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen. Born in Wolfville, NS. She was a daughter of the late Leland and Cecilia (Arenburg) Lovelace. She attended King’s County Academy and Mount St. Vincent University. She attended Macks Business College and worked at Household Finance. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she taught Sunday school and was also a member of the CWL for many years. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Fred; one daughter, Mary Lee, Kentville, NS, two sons; Robert (Donna), St. Stephen and Kevin, Oakville, Ontario; two grandsons; Sheldon and Brandon; brother-in-law; Bruce Campbell, Kentville, NS, one niece; Leslie Campbell-Palmer (Andrew), Kentville, NS, one nephew; Scott Campbell, Halifax, NS, great niece; Moriah Campbell, Halifax, NS, great nephew; Matthew Campbell, Halifax, NS, cousins; Cathy Taillefer and Celine Hertzog; both of Montreal, Marilyn Carter and Delores MacKenzie both of Ontario.She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Campbell.Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB with visiting hours on Thursday November 22, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Union Street, St. Stephen, NB on Friday, November 23, 2007 at 11 AM. with Rev. William Weiss and Rev. Paul Riley officiating.Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville, NS.In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the NB Right to Life Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
