It is with deep sadness, the family of Howard McGirr announce his passing on November 2, 2003.Cherished husband and best friend of Norma Hardy-McGirr. Loving father of Allan Howard (Trudi Ekvall) Vancouver, B.C., Ryan Howard (Cathie Boutilier) Waverly, N.S., Kelly Suzanne (Robert Murray) Pinawa, Man. Proud Granddaddy of Emily, Adam, Katherine, Bronwyn, David, Calvin, Ken, Ritch, Carly. Warm appreciation to dear friend, Dolores Morrell. Dear Brother-in-law of Reuth Sproule. Loved companion of Charlotte.Howard was Vice-President (retired) of Carlton Cards. Residing in St. Stephen, N.B. since 1989, he was active in the community and served in Rotary.Friends are welcome at Avondale, 96 Todds Point Road on November 6, 2003 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.A celebration of Howard's life will take place on November 8 at 2 p.m. at S.O.
