Jarvis Oswald Wilson passed away with his family by his side at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB. on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

Born in Honeydale, NB., son of the late Marguerite (Hubbard) and Edward Wilson.

Jarvis had many jobs over his 80 years: truck driver, mechanic, carpenter, Pastor, policeman and woods worker, but his greatest loves were God and his family. His wife and kids were his priority, even until the very last day. He had a big spot in his heart for all his grandchildren, as well as his beautiful great-grandchildren. His love for God, music and guitar will live on for many years through his family.

Jarvis is survived by his wife of 60 years, Viola (McDougall), two sons: Jarvis Ross (Diana) Wilson of Lawrence Station, NB. and Perry Wilson of St. Stephen, NB., three daughters: Theresa (Tom) Cloney of Flume Ridge, NB., Linda (Lynn) Cleghorn of Lawrence Station, NB. and Sheila (Jim) Miller of Johnson Settlement, NB., eight grandchildren: Monica (Greg) Anderson, Mindy(Geoff) Harrison, Jeremy (Keri) Cloney, Justin (Cassandra) Cleghorn, Eric Cleghorn, Sarah Dunn, Joshua (Andrea) Wentworth, Cora Miller, ten great-grandchildren, two sisters: Cecilia Hubbard of Blacks Harbour, NB., Donna Hubbard of St. George, NB., one brother, Delang Hubbard Jr. of Saint John, NB., several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Jarvis was pre-deceased by two brothers: Wilfred and Austin, two sisters: Gloria and Linda, special grandmother, Lucinda “Daisy” McLaughlin.

Funeral service will be held at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB. on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2 PM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.

Interment at Honeydale Community Cemetery, Honeydale, NB.
